We have a rising 8th grader we would like to have tutored in math.

I’m taking General Chemistry 2 this summer and it’s been a minute since I’ve touched anything to do with Chemistry/Algebra so my skills in those departments are very rusty. For a first season I have questions given to me by my instructor on what I should know coming into the course. If we’re able to get through those I can also talk a bit about the first unit, but that’s no rush I do really want to understand the basics again. Past this I think it would make sense for me to come back once a week with questions about the topics I went over in class. Anytime Saturday or Sunday after 12 pm would work for me

My son is currently a sophomore in high school. He is in chem honors. I think he might need some help with just a few topics to prepare for his final.

My granddaughter is enrolled in the GED program at Wake Tech in Raleigh and has passed everything but the math. She is taking the math GED class, but she needs more personal instruction. She attempted the GED test twice and missed passing by a few points. She is scheduled to take again at the beginning of May and if she does not pass, I am looking into a tutor for her that will focus on GED testing and the GED website.
