My daughter needs help studying for the ACT in math, English and reading.

I am looking for in-person tutoring for my daughter. She is 5 years old and has some areas she is working through, particularly in reading and math, and does best with a more hands-on approach. She has ADHD, but she is genuinely passionate about learning and puts real effort into her schoolwork, which makes her a joy to work with when she has the right support.

Our child needs help with learning how to read. We’ve tried a few different things at home, but we realize he needs more help than we can offer him. He does struggle a bit to maintain attention at times. He also tends to get frustrated easily. We would be grateful if you could give us the opportunity to try out a session or test with you to see if he’d be more inclined to learn.

Looking for an experienced SAT reading/writing tutor for my daughter
- Posted by Rani,
My daughter will be turning 5 this summer and will be entering kindergarten this upcoming school year. I’m currently looking for an in-home private tutor to help enrich her learning experience over the summer and strengthen her early reading foundations in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
I’m specifically interested in support with:
- phonics
- letter sounds
- sight words
- early reading skills
- articulation/confidence
- kindergarten readiness and comprehension

I'm looking for an in-person tutor for my younger sister this summer.
She has Down syndrome and is graduating from high school next year. I'd love to use the next 2-3 months to really help her grow in three areas: articulation, reading comprehension, and math. She's currently reading at a 3rd-grade level, and a stretch goal would be to get her closer to a 5th-6th-grade level by the end of summer.
One heads-up: she has a short attention span and really thrives with patient, encouraging instruction, so the right fit matters more to me than speed.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd love to chat about your availability, rates, and how you typically approach sessions. Happy to share more about her too.
Thanks!
