Hi, my son is in Grade 11 and need help with trigonometry and calculus.
- Posted by Areerat,
I’d love to learn a bit more about your approach to English reading and writing for middle school students.
My son is currently in 5th grade and is doing quite well in grammar and writing according to his English teacher. He has written several essays, which I think are not bad, though I’m confident there is still room for improvement. He also reads a lot, but I feel that he mainly enjoys the story itself rather than engaging in deeper analysis.
I’m interested in working with someone who can help polish his English reading and writing skills, particularly by guiding him toward more analytical reading—such as annotating texts and thinking more critically about what he reads. I know the academic demands will increase significantly in 6th and 7th grade, and I’d like to help him build those skills early.
He currently attends a private school. I’d appreciate hearing more about how you work with students at this stage and whether your approach might be a good fit for him.
Thank you,
Keke

We would like to take some family lessons. My husband and I took a few years back in school and have a limited vocabulary but nothing conversational. My two kids (8 and 10) are also interested in learning. I am hoping to do some family lessons as well as maybe an adult lesson, and a kid lesson.

My son needs help staying on task and finding a routine. He has recently been diagnosed with ADHD and is uninterested in school. When he’s interested in something he’s all in. He’s a likable nice boy. He’s in 6th grade.
