Photography Student in Philadelphia, PA 19125 5.6 mi

My son is currently taking an online Introduction to Photography course in college and is working on a project featuring his grandfather as his subject. Despite completing the weekly exercises and following the professor’s instructions and videos, he’s struggling to get the results he’s hoping for. We’re looking for someone who can provide hands-on instruction and help him capture strong, artistic photographs. Specifically, he wants to achieve a shallow depth of field with beautifully blurred backgrounds, experiment with panning and shutter speed, and explore other creative photography techniques. We would like someone who can work alongside him as he explains and shows you the types of images he wants to capture, help him compose and set up each shot, and show him exactly how to set up and adjust his camera to the correct settings for each individual shot so he can achieve the results he envisions. The goal is for him to take the photographs himself while learning how to properly use his camera and understand the techniques involved.
