I’m looking for a new violin teacher! My school doesn’t offer any art or music classes (nor extracurriculars), so I’ve found it hard to find a teacher near me that teaches in person and isn’t more than 30 min away. I haven’t found the motivation to play violin in years even though I started in 5th grade, so I’d just consider myself a beginner. One problem though, I’m mostly not interested in learning classical music. I want to learn fiddling techniques and play folk/bluegrass music. It is extremely difficult for me to find motivation to even pick up my violin knowing that I have little to no interest/attachment to the song I am playing. Although, with folk music I feel happy and free, and most importantly motivated. I know this all sounds silly but I want to make it happen.

I am having trouble with graphical analysis in AP Calculus AB. I find the reasoning behind the connections between f(x), f’(x), and f”(x) difficult to understand, especially concavity and the relationships between positive and negative values and increasing and decreasing behavior. The preceding also includes 2nd derivative tests.
