I’m looking for some help for my 13-year-old daughter.
She’s a very creative kid and loves writing - she’s currently working on a book. I’d especially love someone who could help her develop her writing, talk through ideas, edit her work and keep her moving forward with the project.
We need some support with executive functioning, particularly staying focused, organizing assignments, breaking larger projects into manageable steps, time management and developing stronger study habits. I’m hoping to find someone who can naturally incorporate those skills into tutoring rather than making that the sole focus.
She may also need help with homework and some math as needed. Ideally, I’m looking for someone warm, patient and engaging who can become a consistent academic mentor for her during the school year.
We’re in Manhattan and would prefer in-person and open to moving to hybrid after established. Ideally once or twice a week.
