I am looking for an MCAT tutor. I was wondering if anyone had time to talk about details on what their style of tutoring is/timeline and expectations before I decide to book a full session -- either by email or phone. I've provided some background on my MCAT experience thus far below.
I have been doing content review since January but my score unfortunately regressed five points. Cars has consistently been my weakest section, and I find passage analysis difficult across all sections. I also find myself rushing/running out of time on all sections except psych/soc. My goal score is 510. I just got approved for 80 min stop clock breaks, but depending on the testing center's availability for accommodations I may have to reschedule. Right now I am scheduled for 4/24, but leaning towards pushing it back to end of May anyways, so I can boost my score.

My son is a transfer student at umass Dartmouth (transferred from Mass Bay community college) and is looking for some tutoring in genetics. He is a bio major. He has had another tutor who lectures quite a bit and he has a hard time with that style. He does have adhd and gets lectures in class. He really works better with a more interactive style of tutor that will pin point the things he has trouble with and practice, practice with him til he knows it. Genetics has been a lower grade for him so far. Hoping for some help to boost understanding and his grade 2 nd 1/2 of 2 nd term. Let me know if you think this might be a good fit.
