My wife and I would like to begin learning Italian so that we can communicate, at least on a basic level, with a young man and his family who is planning to marry our daughter. He has been working in this country for a few years and speaks English quite well but his family lives in Tuscany and we would like to know enough about the language and culture to build good relationships.
