My son is not doing well in English. He has ADHD and has challenges handing work in on time, handing in complete work, etc. We have not tried English tutoring, and I was thinking it might be worth a try to see if it will help him. He has an upcoming essay on the book, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Isgmael Beah. It is due before Thanksgiving.

I am in need of help trying to figure out how to sync the four machines I have and make sure they are still backing up, and generally just wrap my head around taking over all the finances and tech stuff. And we are on a family Mac system- I need to make sure that my email and files are secure. Apple has assured me everything is separate and secure, but I’m a bit suspect of the kitchen computer…

We’re looking for someone to tutor a UW student currently taking CSE 163 (Intermediate Python) without having taken the introductory CSE 160 course.
She has a major project this quarter and could use weekly help understanding Python concepts, staying on track, and making steady progress on her project. It would also be great to have someone she can bounce ideas off of, discuss her approach with, and get help and guidance in debugging when she gets stuck.
Would you be available for weekly sessions and able to meet near the UW campus since she doesn’t have a car?
Thanks!

My husband and I are traveling to Japan on December 29th and are interested in taking private Japanese lessons two or three times a week until then. We have been to Japan a few times and have taken Japanese before several years ago, but we definitely need a refresher. We know hiragana and katakana for the most part and a few basic phrases, but we would like to be able to go converse a bit more easily with locals while traveling.

I have a son in third grade who could use some extra support in math. He’s a very visual and creative learner, so we’re hoping to find someone who can help him understand math through hands-on, engaging approaches.
