I specifically asked for someone with Mac knowledge and we had to spend some time together going through the program trying to figure out how some things were done. Though not a great amount of time, I feel we lost traction and distance as a result of hunting for program actions because of not having intimate knowledge of Mac AutoCad. I would recommend her in a heartbeat with only a small caveat about the Mac applications knowledge base.
Not only did he solve some tough problems with patience and persistence, he's shown us how to do all kinds of things that make the Mac faster, easier and a pleasure to use. Carl communicates very well -- at our level -- without jargon and befuddlement. He listens, then digs right in with solutions from a vast store of Mac knowledge and experience. If you need a helping hand with your Mac, Carl may be the right tutor for you.
He also helped me boot up my new IPad and synchronized it to my MAC and Kindle. Steve's style is very patient and I think he was able to accurately judge where I was at in the MAC learning curve and guide me accordingly. He made sure I did enough hands-on learning so that I'm now comfortable working on my own at home. He also made recommendations for Apps I might try in response to questions I asked. We worked together for 2 hours and I think that was the perfect amount of time for me.
