My 6 year old, first grader has come home with a lot of stress surrounding math and also a decline in her grades. I personally was a horrible math student, and I think that a lot of that is due to my lack of good foundation and a feeling of helplessness in math itself I developed. I am trying to prevent this in my daughter and give her a good start in math!
