I want my daughter and her family to learn Spanish. Children are young and I picture a lesson made around the kitchen table or a game. They live in Burlington Twsp.

My daughter is currently in 6th grade, and her IRLA scores are not at the expected level for her grade. She is not very interested in reading and tends to avoid writing essays. I’m looking for someone who could spend about an hour with her, helping her read a novel and then guiding her to write about what she read.
The goal is to gradually build her interest in reading, strengthen her comprehension, and improve her writing skills, which should help improve her IRLA performance over time. It would also be helpful if the tutor could occasionally review her school syllabus and assist with homework when needed.
If my daughter feels comfortable with the tutor and the sessions are effective, I would be interested in continuing on a longer-term basis with 2–3 sessions per week.
Please let me know your approach to teaching, how you typically work with students at this level, and your pricing as well.

I’m reaching out because I’m looking for a tutor for my daughter, who is 11 years old and in the 5th grade. She is a bright and curious child, but she learns best through interactive and engaging teaching methods rather than traditional instruction.
Ideally, we’re looking for a tutor who has experience working with children with similar needs and who can help her strengthen her ability to understand and retain information while making learning an enjoyable experience.
If this sounds like something you have experience with, I’d love to hear more about your approach and how you typically work with students.
