I'm looking for a robotics and electronics tutor or mentor for my
7-year-old son. He's a fast, curiosity-driven learner who
recently got deeply into robotics — he came home from a BattleBots
event completely hooked, and he's already sketching his own
modification ideas (his current project is figuring out how to modify
an old smart speaker).
What I'm looking for is less a fixed curriculum and more someone who
can follow his ideas and help him actually build them. He asks a lot
of questions, wants to understand how things work and then change
them, so the ideal fit is a mentor who's comfortable going off-script
— the "okay, let's try your idea" type. Hands-on platforms like
Arduino, micro:bit, or Raspberry Pi would be a great match.
In person would be best.

My 16-year-old son is heading into his junior year of high school in August. They do not offer Japanese at his school, and we could not afford the accredited programs outside of school. He is so enthusiastic about learning the language that we decided to pay for a tutor, even though this will not count towards his high school language requirements. He is extremely passionate about the language and is listening to podcasts in Japanese and watching anime in Japanese, even though he doesn’t know/understand what is being said. He will need somebody who is patient with the acquisition of the language given his dyslexia. He would like to start as soon as possible.

I live near Outer Richmond in San Francisco. I’m looking for face-to-face English conversation lessons, ideally once or twice a week. My main goal is to improve my speaking fluency, pronunciation, and American accent for daily life and work situations. My English level is intermediate (B1). I sometimes feel nervous when speaking, so I’m looking for a patient tutor who can correct my mistakes and help me speak more naturally.
