My daughter is 11 years old and it is her first year with virtual school. She has dyslexia and is reading / writing at about an upper 3rd/low 4th grade level.
She’s very intelligent, but tends to move so quick that she makes little mistakes. I’m trying to get her to slow down for her brain and take her time because she feels behind (which is one reason I pulled her from school). She is doing good so far, and being able to focus on one or two subjects a day seems to be helping, but we have reached the “learning to write a narrative” part and that’s where I need a tutor!
