Hi, I’m an adult in my mid-30s looking for a private English tutor to help me improve my spoken English and overall communication skills.
My main goals are:
• Speak English more naturally, confidently, and fluently
• Improve my American accent and pronunciation
• Learn how Americans naturally express themselves in everyday conversations
• Improve my vocabulary and sentence structure when speaking
• Correct grammar mistakes and unnatural expressions while I’m speaking
I’ve been living in the U.S. for quite some time, but I still feel like my English is at a fairly basic level. I want to take my speaking to the next level, especially by sounding more natural and closer to a native speaker.
I’m looking for someone who can actively correct me, work on my pronunciation and accent, and give me plenty of opportunities to speak during each lesson.
Please let me know about your experience with American accent training and conversational English.
Lastly do you provide in person service?

My son has no interest in regular school work but does love drawing, sketching and designing when I take away his electronics. I am hoping if I invest time in his art interest it will get him off the games and give him the room to express himself artistically while also honing his skills

I’m looking for a 1-on-1 English/ELA tutor for my son who is entering 5th grade.
We’re looking for a combination of English enrichment and strong writing foundations. Beyond his regular school curriculum, we’d like him to work on advanced reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, literary analysis, critical thinking, and gradually more sophisticated writing.
For writing in particular, our goal is to build a very strong foundation through a mastery-based approach. We’d like skills such as hooks, topic sentences, supporting details, transitions, body paragraphs, conclusions, and overall paragraph and essay structure to be taught explicitly and thoroughly, with enough practice to genuinely understand and master each concept before progressing.

I’m reaching out because I’m looking for a tutor for my younger brother, who is going into his sophomore year of high school. He attends school in Long Beach, but we live in Huntington Beach.
He has a pretty busy schedule during the week, so we’re ideally looking for someone who can spend a few hours with him on Sundays to help him prepare for the week ahead. This would include reviewing upcoming homework and assignments, preparing for any tests or quizzes that week, helping with anything he’s having trouble understanding, and making sure he stays organized and on track.
His main subjects are Chemistry, Geometry, World History, English, and Spanish, so we’re hoping to find someone who is well-rounded and comfortable providing support across multiple subjects.
We’d prefer to have someone work with him in person in the Huntington Beach area and ideally build a consistent weekly routine throughout the school year.
