We found Dr. Roger to be very positive in his approach, which made learning much easier for my senior high school, home school student. Dr. Roger is flexible in his availability and scheduling. He is an expert in many subjects, which is great for our home school program. He is a true educator with a flair for being able to reach a student. We feel very blessed to have such a resource of knowledge and instruction as part of our home school education curriculum.
Not many tutors have the willingness to come to our home and work with a home schooled student. From the very first lesson with Tri we knew we had gotten really lucky. Every tutor is great in their profile, but the real proof is when it's time for them to actually TEACH the subject they claim to be an expert in, and not just read a textbook or computer screen alongside the student. The field of truly excellent tutors narrows really quickly when they have to work with home schooled students.
That’s a pretty big shift that we hadn’t been able to accomplish all year even with support at home for homework and learning, and advocating back and forth with teacher/school all year asking what more we could do at home to resolve the situation and could they help in any way? In the end, the teacher’s answer was, “Not really,” and your son shouldn’t be allowed to take any more advanced math classes because he can’t do it.
