He is a bright child and does well in math, and his reading comprehension is actually fairly good when someone reads with him or guides him. He also enjoys science and nonfiction topics like animals, space, and dinosaurs.

He knows to name letters, and some of the sounds, and we are trying to connect letters slowly with both sounds and each other, but want some expert guidance. We are looking for consistent positive opportunities to learn, and are eager to affirm and progress at home as well as in tutoring.
We know it may take time, but we also know we are not best equipped for this teaching, and appreciate your guidance and patience.
