I’m reaching out because I’m looking for a tutor for my younger brother, who is going into his sophomore year of high school. He attends school in Long Beach, but we live in Huntington Beach.
He has a pretty busy schedule during the week, so we’re ideally looking for someone who can spend a few hours with him on Sundays to help him prepare for the week ahead. This would include reviewing upcoming homework and assignments, preparing for any tests or quizzes that week, helping with anything he’s having trouble understanding, and making sure he stays organized and on track.
His main subjects are Chemistry, Geometry, World History, English, and Spanish, so we’re hoping to find someone who is well-rounded and comfortable providing support across multiple subjects.
We’d prefer to have someone work with him in person in the Huntington Beach area and ideally build a consistent weekly routine throughout the school year.

I am looking for Mathematics tutor for my 15 year old son who is about to be a sophomore in HS. He is a really sweet person who has inattentive ADHD. He has always had daily math struggles. Despite this he has a good attitude about the work. For the next school year we are looking for help two to three times a week for 60 minute to 90 minute sessions.

I would love to be trained and tutored! I am trying to apply for the Oxford Fine Arts program, which is due by October 15th and I am also thinking about a couple of others, but this one is top of mind. I already have one of two great ideas for my portfolio, and in colored pencil! I need some help to create a portfolio that is competitive and would love to learn some specific techniques and hone some skills to make a good assortment of pieces!
