I’m looking for a tutor for my soon-to-be 9 yr old. She is in the 3rd grade and is struggling with math. We are looking for someone who can come to our house afterschool on Mondays and Wednesdays. The best window of time is between 3 pm and 6 pm.

I’m interested in some math tutoring. I’m 33 with a high school level education and a semester of college. I’m looking to build on what little math skills I have to grow my confidence and further my career goals. I have to use math pretty regularly at my job doing conversions, percentages, margin, business math etc. but I have forgotten a lot of the fundamentals. I rely mostly on memory to do conversions but I dont full understand the concepts if that makes sense. I tend to switch numbers in my head often which makes math more challenging and frustrating for me but I’m ready to turn that weakness into a strength.
