I am looking for a tutor who can help prepare me for the USMLE exams.

I need help with writing up a test case and explaining the steps so I understand the concepts so I can do this on my own later. I am a complete newbie with no experience in this field. Taking an online class with very little explanation, I am totally lost.

I have an 11 year old son who really needs reading and math support. He had a wonderful tutor for years and she has since left us to start a family. He had an IEP but was taken off at the end of last year and I am advocating to get him back on it.

I’m a sophomore in college. I’m reaching out because I need help preparing for the ALEKS math placement test. I’ve taken it a few times already and haven’t been able to reach the required score.
I’m looking for a tutor who has experience with ALEKS specifically and can help me focus on my weak areas. I think I need support with core topics like algebra and functions, as well as a strategy to improve before my next attempt.
Could a tutor please let me know:
* If they have experience with ALEKS test prep
- availability (online or in-person)
* rates
I’m hoping to get started soon and would really appreciate help.

We are seeking a tutor for a 4th grade student (age 10), with a primary goal of preparing for admission to competitive private schools using the ISEE or a similar standardized test.
Student Profile (Brief)
Bright student with ADHD
Tends to rush through work to finish quickly
May avoid or misrepresent completion to escape tasks
Responds well in 1:1 settings with adults she likes
Inconsistent application of skills from class to independent work
The student currently works with her math teacher once per week (1:1), which appears to be helpful for engagement and some academic progress.
We are interested in how additional tutoring would complement-not duplicate-this support, particularly in preparing for standardized testing and independent work expectations.
Our goal is strong performance on the ISEE and successful admission to competitive schools.
At the same time, we want to ensure the student is building the underlying skills and habits needed to perform independently in both testing and classroom settings.
Areas of Focus
ISEE preparation (verbal, quantitative, and test-taking approach)
Math (foundational skills and consistent problem-solving process)
Written responses (complete sentences and basic explanation of thinking)
Responding to prompts (e.g., Why do you think this is correct?)
Developing test-taking habits (reading carefully, slowing down, eliminating answers, pacing)
