I’ve been playing music most my life, started in piano, then trumpet in elementary school, bass and guitar in high school etc. I’ve played in bands throughout high school, college, and grad school, ranging from blues rock to punk rock to pop/surf rock. In these bands I’ve either played bass or drums, however, my true love is the guitar.
I’ve found my way back to the guitar in recent years and want to implement more structure to my journey. I’m interested in expanding my jazz repertoire to increase the colors on my musical palette.

Our son is about to enter the 11th grade. He started studying French in middle school, but still struggles with grammar and fluency. He would like to get his French mojo - to enjoy speaking, writing, and reading French, and to make it to AP French by the 12th grade. We live in Lexington.

Hi,
Would love to initially meet online to ask some questions. I am the grandmother and am supposed to “stay in my own lane” when it comes to dealing with my grandson’s reading issues. I have been a reading tutor so I can identify issues, but not trained in “fixing” them. I believe he needs 1:1 specialized tutoring,. He is very bright but not successfully learning to decode at grade level. He is going into second grade, feeling discouraged and comes out of school with a long face. Breaks my heart. Please help.
