I am looking for math support for my daughter, who is a 7-year-old student finishing 1st grade and entering 2nd grade this fall.
Her teacher has expressed concerns that her math skills are currently below grade-level expectations. While she does struggle with some math concepts, I believe part of the challenge may be related to attention and distraction issues rather than a lack of ability.
We are looking for additional support to help strengthen her math foundation and build confidence. We are specifically interested in a traditional, hands-on approach to learning. We would prefer a tutor who uses their own teaching materials and works primarily with pencil, paper, worksheets, manipulatives, and other supporting resources rather than iPads, computers, or online programs.
