Looking for an in-person tutor/learning specialist for a bright kindergarten-age child with a neurodivergent learning profile. Seeking individualized support in early reading, writing, and math from someone experienced with neurodivergent or uneven learning profiles. He has an expressive language delay and gestalt/scripted language profile, so we're especially interested in someone who can distinguish what a child understands from what they can readily express, use visual/concrete teaching and flexible response methods, allow processing time, and maintain appropriate academic challenge. Special education, reading intervention, educational therapy, or similar experience preferred. We are seeking ongoing academic support rather than traditional homework tutoring.

I’m looking for a tutor for my 9th-grade daughter. She can complete her homework independently, but she has difficulty understanding everything taught in class and does not yet know how to review and study independently.
I’m especially looking for someone who can teach her study skills and executive functioning skills, such as how to review class notes, identify key information, prepare for quizzes and tests, organize her study time, and gradually become a more independent learner.
She also has an IEP and benefits from structured, step-by-step instruction.
