I’m looking for an English tutor for my son who is a 10th grader.
Since we’re already in the middle of the first marking period, I’d like the main focus to be on his current English Honors class and helping him improve his grades. He did well in English Honors last school year, and we’ve been told that his writing is pretty strong.
However, he’s not doing as well in his current class, so I’d really like to understand where he is struggling and help him improve.
He also needs some guidance in developing better study habits. He tends not to be very motivated to study on his own, so I’m hoping the tutor can work with him more actively. F
He also just started preparing for the PSAT, so when he comes across questions he doesn’t understand, he can bring them to the tutoring sessions.
