I am looking for an in-person tutor for my 7-year-old child, who will be entering 2nd grade this August. While my child can read words fine, they are currently struggling with reading comprehension and retelling stories. I am hoping to get some professional support to help build these skills.
We live in Sterling (ZIP code 20166, could you confirm if traveling to our home in Sterling would be feasible for you?
Please let me know your availability and if this sounds like a good fit for you.
Best regards,
Sunny

My daughter is not able to break through in the math section of the SAT, she says she just does not understand the hard questions. She has done a lot of practice, taken the SAT 3 times and had some personal coaching also. She has the SAT on Aug 22 and she wants to maximize her math score to get over 1520.

I’m looking for conversation practice only. I don’t want grammar lessons or homework. I’d like to spend the entire session speaking English, and I’d appreciate it if you could correct my pronunciation and grammar naturally during our conversation.

I am a rising sophomore. I took Russian first semester and second semester. I got an A- in the fall, and I took a pass/fail in the spring because I didn’t feel comfortable with how I was doing on the tests. I need to take one more semester of Russian and I’m looking for a tutor to supplement and support what I’m learning so I can better, as I will be taking this semester for credit.

I’m an intermediate learner (roughly B1/B2, though my listening/reading skills are stronger than my speaking skills I think). My primary goal is improving my conversation and speaking abilities.

Hi, I have a four year old that LOVES to play. He’s comfortable with letters and most letter sounds and can count confidently to 10 but I would love for him to get ahead and develop more confidence in reading, counting, and basic math. Maybe even enjoy it! Over the summer we’d do once every other week and then once a week when school is back in session.
