We are looking for an experienced Special Education professional to work 1-on-1 with our 16-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum.
Our primary focus is supporting his high school IEP goals in functional academics—specifically reading, writing, and typing—along with transition skills.
Here are the key details of what we are seeking:
Schedule: 2 hours per week, within a M/W/F 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM window (long-term, consistent engagement).
Location: In-person at our home in Plano (Zip Code 75025).
Approach: A dignity-first, supportive approach that incorporates gentle redirection and short physical movement breaks (like basketball) to help him stay regulated and engaged.
Please let us know if your current schedule allows for travel to our location during those evening hours, and if you would be open to discussing this opportunity further.
Thank you for your time!
Best regards,
Shakti

I’m looking for a Spanish tutor for my son. He is 7 years old and currently in 2nd grade. He is new to the school and does not currently speak Spanish.
His school uses a trilingual learning model, and he has days where his classes are taught in Spanish. Our main goal is to help him get caught up, build a strong foundation in Spanish, and become comfortable understanding what is being taught in class.
