Both of my children are struggling academically, and I’ve realized they need more consistent support and oversight.
My son is 17 and attends High School as a junior, where he is studying automotive technology. He has ADHD and is very bright, but he often struggles to complete assignments unless someone is sitting with him. Executive functioning is a significant challenge: he has difficulty preparing for assignments, managing his time, and making steady progress on larger projects.
My daughter is turning 16 and is a sophomore. Her difficulties with math became more apparent in eighth grade. Although she has not been diagnosed, she recently told me that she has trouble focusing. She may have some symptoms of ADHD, but I believe the larger issue is that she has not yet learned how to study effectively. For example, she believes that reviewing material for about half an hour the day before a test is enough preparation.
I’m finding it difficult to manage both of their academic workloads and the stress that comes with trying to keep them on track. Their success in high school and beyond is my highest priority, and we need help. I’m looking for someone who can meet with them a few times a week, review upcoming and missing assignments, help them understand material they find challenging.

Hello, I'm a college student looking for help with my Into to Chem course. The material isn't bad, but I'm recovering from a concussion and find it easier to talk through concepts to learn right now. I would prefer to meet at a public library

I’m looking for a private reading and writing tutor for my 5½-year-old son, who just started kindergarten. The goal is enrichment and helping him become stronger in English reading and writing. English is our second language and we don’t speak it at home, although he speaks and understands English well and recognizes letters. We live in Groton MA.

My son is a sophomore taking advanced math honors.
Here is an outline of the course
This course will investigate and build upon topics in Advanced Algebra and Geometry.
The units of study will include (1) Reasoning and Proof, (2) Similar Figures and Quadrilateral Properties,
(3) Linear Inequalities (One- and Two-Variable), (4) Nonlinear Functions and Inequalities, (5) Circles, (6)
Understanding Probability, (7) Recursion and Iteration, and (8) Inverses and Logarithms.
Important ideas are continually revisited for students to make connections and develop a lasting
understanding of the mathematics they are studying.
This course is aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks - Model Mathematics II and III, and by the
conclusion of this year, students will have completed all of the requirements of Geometry and most of the
requirements of Algebra II.
He has executive functioning issues and hence sometimes forgets steps and his teacher is really strict if any step is missing.
I am looking for a full year in person tutor.
Do you have availability and can we have 1 lesson tomorrow or Sunday anytime?

I’m writing to request a lesson. I’m struggling with LR flaws, necessary assumptions, and scientific-based RC questions. Additionally, I’m having difficulty with questions that require me to infer a conclusion and must be false questions. I'm taking the October test and would greatly appreciate any improvement I can make.
