Jesse is very encouraging while he is teaching, wanting you to get the most out of the time allotted and making sure you learn critical things. He is my first tutor for music production and I enjoyed learning from him very much. He knows his stuff and is more than willing to share his vast knowledge on the music world.
Jay took a 15-year-old who had never studied music production before, to a basic understanding of 3 different open source music-related apps, in 2 hours. I caused some technical difficulties with a misplaced software key and Jay was able to work around the problem. We will return for more lessons, so my budding rapper-nephew can get his beats on video. Quote: "Jay was cool."
Once we established my long term goals, Paul immediately adapted his lesson plan to my desired outcomes. We've created a plan to learn recording software basics, electric guitar, music production vocabulary, and more. Paul is patient, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. He doesn't talk at you, and instead quizzes you along the way to make sure you're retaining. Whatever your music goals are, Paul will work with you on a plan to accomplish them and set you up for success.
