My daughter is 7 years old and will be starting 2nd grade this fall. She attends a private school, and we primarily speak Korean at home.
She is able to read books independently, but her biggest challenge is reading comprehension. She often has difficulty understanding what she reads, retelling the story, and explaining the story in her own words. Our goal is to help her build stronger reading comprehension skills, vocabulary, and confidence as she moves into 2nd grade.
We live in Sterling, VA and seeking a tutor who is available to come to our home for in-person lessons.

My rising HS senior daughter is taking the August SAT and would like pointers and how to improve, specifically on the reading portion.

Hello,
Does someone have any availability for oboe tutoring?

I am an incoming 1L student at George Washington Law School and am looking for a tutor for my first semester. I would like in-person tutoring and will be living in Foggy Bottom.

I am interested in learning Spanish. I know some of the basics but would like to develop some proficiency!

I’m looking for conversation practice only. I don’t want grammar lessons or homework. I’d like to spend the entire session speaking English, and I’d appreciate it if you could correct my pronunciation and grammar naturally during our conversation.

I am interested in 1 class per week private tutoring in Arabic. I have some prior Arabic experience and am at the Lower intermediate or beginner level.

I am a rising sophomore. I took Russian first semester and second semester. I got an A- in the fall, and I took a pass/fail in the spring because I didn’t feel comfortable with how I was doing on the tests. I need to take one more semester of Russian and I’m looking for a tutor to supplement and support what I’m learning so I can better, as I will be taking this semester for credit.

Hi, I have a four year old that LOVES to play. He’s comfortable with letters and most letter sounds and can count confidently to 10 but I would love for him to get ahead and develop more confidence in reading, counting, and basic math. Maybe even enjoy it! Over the summer we’d do once every other week and then once a week when school is back in session.
