Success stories

Since 2005, Wyzant has provided a way for people to learn any subject in a way that works for them.

3 Math lessons

He was always patient with me when I had many questions and he had no problem repeating his answers and describing the processes over again to complete the **math** problems until I understood how to solve the **math** problems. His high knowledge in **math** was evident when he showed me several different processes and **math** formulas to help me achieve the same answer in a much easier way to solve a difficult **math** problem.

5 Math lessons

I had a wonderful tutoring experience with Masahiro. He is very dedicated and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who has a hard time with **math**. He did not judge me for the lack of **math** experience I had. Instead he was understanding and patient and I felt very comfortable. He is very professional and always on time. He takes his time to explain **math** problems clearly and I was actually able to understand certain **math** concepts that I've always had trouble with.

17 Math lessons

Most "**math** people" find **math** so instinctual that they tend to zip through an explanation. Kirk asks me what my goals are for the lesson each time. Then he concentrates on that thing only. If I ask him for broader basic concepts, he does that, too. I had an open-notes **math** midterm test last night (basic algebra, equation of the line, functions, graphing, etc.). I got an A. I don't think I have ever had an A on a **math** test in my life, let alone under these circumstances.
