I have a senior in high school in the Bay Area who is currently in the middle of her application process and feels stuck. We are applying to T20 schools and she has already started working on her essays. We would like to get some help so she can feel confident in her approach and ultimately feel that her essays are good enough to submit.

We’re looking for in-person writing tutoring for our son. He’s a 10th grader in high school. He’s had weekly writing tutoring since 4th grade. Unfortunately, she is no longer available. We’re looking for something very specific - our son is looking to do some scientific writing over the next year, which is new for him. For example, writing science articles and publishing in science magazines. He recently wrote a science research paper on some experimentation he did and we’d love help refining it.

I’m looking for an experienced private early-childhood educator for my 3-year-old son in Los Altos.
We are looking for a fairly intensive and consistent schedule — ideally 4–6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, for approximately 16 weeks at least.
Our primary goals are rapid English immersion and age-appropriate cognitive development: receptive and expressive English, vocabulary, following multi-step directions, verbal and visual reasoning, memory, attention, problem solving, storytelling, and confidence interacting independently with an English-speaking adult.
We are also preparing him for selective Bay Area private-school admissions, so experience with preschool/kindergarten readiness, gifted children, or schools such as Sacred Heart, Nueva, or Harker would be especially helpful. We are NOT looking for worksheets or three hours of desk-based instruction — we want developmentally appropriate, play-based learning with books, puzzles, games, movement, conversation, and structured activities.
