My daughter has a completed Common App essay draft and could use substantive editing while keeping her voice intact. She will also want help with supplemental essays for several colleges. We’re hoping for relatively quick turnaround because of November 1 Early Action deadlines.

I’m reaching out on behalf of my boss, who is looking for a global history tutor for her niece. She is 15 years old and a sophomore in high school in Jamaica, Queens. I'm taking Biochemistry at Columbia, and I'm finding it quite difficult. Premed and would really like to get an A/A- in the class.

I want to study the language to improve my fluency and professional skills.
I prefer face-to-face classes, and I would like to enroll in a one-to-one course.

I'm looking for in-person Spanish tutoring for my kids: my 7-year-old daughter primarily but I also have 4-year-old son that I would also like to be learning more Spanish.
A bit of context: my mother-in-law lives with us and only speaks Spanish, and my husband speaks Spanish too — so the kids are surrounded by the language. What they're missing is rigor: structured learning that gets them genuinely fluent with their family, instead of just picking up words here and there.
