We have a son who was evaluated last summer and identified as twice exceptional (2e). He excels in math and logical reasoning while also having orthographic dyslexia.
Following his evaluation, we worked with his school to develop an IEP focused on reading and spelling, as his dyslexia had previously gone unrecognized and he had fallen behind in those areas. Over the past year, he met weekly with a tutor who also served as our IEP advocate, and he made tremendous progress toward his reading and spelling goals.
Our tutor has since shifted her practice to focus exclusively on advocacy, so we're looking for a new tutor to work with him on weekends.
As he enters 3rd grade, he'll be attending his school's full-time AAP program, so finding someone who can support both his dyslexia and his strengths in math feels like the perfect fit.

I have my MCAT scheduled for August 15, and while I’ve been making solid progress in the other sections, CARS just hasn’t been clicking for me.
I was hoping to get some help with strategy and reasoning before I continue practicing so I can identify what’s not working and approach passages more effectively.
