About Erin:

Hello everyone!

I believe that there is no limit to where knowledge and an open mind can take you. I would love to work with students who understand that learning about something opens up that world to them. Have you ever learned something new and then seemed to see something about it everywhere? It has always been there, but your mind is now ready to receive it. The world is boundless and I am interested in anyone who is looking to be inspired to love the sciences, literature, sports or Russian language.

I have worked with every age group and in many capacities: As a tutor, coach or simply a mentor, I seek to inspire.

More On Erin's Subjects:

  • Russian

I have studied Russian in an intense year long course in the States. I then took a summer long course in language and culture in a Russian university. I spent the past year and 1/2 living with a Russian speaking family, communicating daily in Russian, watching Russian television and listening to Russian music almost exclusively. I am currently studying to work overseas in Kazakhstan, a Russian speaking former Soviet Republic.

  • softball

Most of my experience as a player is as a fast-pitch pitcher. I pitched for several successful teams and have given lessons often since graduating high school. I coached a JV softball team for two years and several summer travel teams. I also love to teach theory and strategy of softball including stealing, hitting, fielding and putting together line-ups and practice schedules.

  • volleyball

I played volleyball and was accepted to two all-star teams during my senior year. After graduation I coached 7th grade volleyball for five years. I have also participated in many camps, both large and small, as a coach. I continue to play volleyball weekly and enjoy watching as well.
