As my resume delineated,the preponderance of my career has been spent in a corporate atmosphere, with a concentration in mathematical representation of
natural catastrophes. While my resume is an accurate depiction of the income generating portion of my career, it is silent with regard to the more satisfying and persistent component of my career,teaching.
While a student at Holderness School, I tutored fellow students in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. While an undergraduate at Colgate, I served as a TA in Calculus III, Chemistry 101, and Linear Algebra courses. While at Continental Insurance, I taught
Actuarial Exam preparation courses at the College of Insurance for C.A.S. parts I and II: Calculus and Probability and Statistics. While at SOREMA NA, I tutored Fashion Institute of Technology students to
reach their minimum math level core requirements and introduced and directed the SOREMA Introduction to Reinsurance program for our summer interns. |
