I am an avid francophile and spent three years in Paris studying French at La Sorbonne, Nanterre and Science Politique. I have an MA from the French Graduate School at Middlebury College and completed my thesis in Paris. THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE SCHOOL, RECOGNIZED FOR LANGUAGES, PARTICULARLY IN FRENCH.
My major was in French, learning language, civilization, literature with a well-rounded curriculum in political science, economics, linguistics and art history as well.
I love to teach French to students who might be challenged by certain aspects of the language and also appreciate motivated students who want to really learn the language.
My style is open, participative and focused on the phonetics, pronounciation, grammar and skill sets needed to become fluent. I try to gear the subject matter toward the interest level of the student and find ways to make learning fun and memorable.
