  My experience teaching ESL began in Japan when I worked for NOVA and lived in Takamatsu on the island of Shikoku. From there I went to San Diego State University and studied Linguistics. I now have an ESL Teaching Certificate and practical experience. Informally, I have also tutored many Spanish-speaking people in English. Since I have personally gained fluency in a second language (Spanish), I can relate to others who are struggling to learn English and I can help make it easier for them!
