Hello one and all. I'll get straight to the point and let you know this: if you are struggling in any of the subjects that I teach, you're on the right tutor's page. No matter how far behind you may be, no matter how much you may think you can't learn, understand that you just need the right teacher for YOU! Aren't you glad you found me?
The name's Rebekah Robbins and I'll give you a little background information about myself. I am a college graduate of the University of Florida. I studied several things, but my official major was Linguistics. While in college I worked as a customer service representative/secretary and I also worked at the English Language Institute at the Univerity of Florida. After I received my B.S. in 2006 I started a career as a Speech-Language Therapist and have done that for the past 2 school years. In addition, I tutored students in Math and Reading after school.
But let me back up just a little to give you information on my knowledge of Math. In middle school I learned Algebra I and in the following year, as a nineth-grader, I took an Algebra II course. In the following high school years I passed courses in Geometry Honors, Honors Precalculus, AP Calculus, AP Physics, etc. so I can say that I am pretty well-versed in Math. I was one of the two people in the entire school who actually passed the Advanced Placement Exam in Physics.
Now I'm not bragging nor am I being cocky, just giving you hopefully convincing reasons why you should choose me as your tutor. Not only do I have the skills to teach well, but I absolutely love teaching and watching people grow right before my eyes. It's amazing!!
