Haily...just want to know if you know how to use the FOIL method...it is a consistent method of factoring and multiplying bionomials. Let me know if you know how to do that.

2x^2-x-3 = 0
(2x-3)(x+1) = 0 (Ideas: 2(-3) = -6, 2-3 = -1)
Answer: x = 3/2, -1
