math probabilities

Mr.s Fedge placed 10 candy bars, 50 pieces of hard candy, and 40 pieces of gum into a large bag.  Then she pick two pieces for each student without looking and put them in smaller bags.  Find all possible outcomes of the two pieces of candy each student could receive.

There are 6 possible outcomes.

  1. candy bar and candy bar
  2. hard candy and hard candy
  3. gum and gum
  4. candy bar and hard candy
  5. candy bar and gum
  6. hard candy and gum

There are no other possible outcomes when selecting only two pieces of candy.
