What specifically do you want help with regarding ionic bonding?
Though I do not know specifically your question here, I will say that ionic bonding is a type of bond formed between two atoms usually with varying electronegativity. For example, let's take the compound Sodium Chloride (NaCl). Na is on the far left side of the Periodic Table and Cl is on the far right. Chlorine has a very high electronegativity (recall, electronegativity increases as you go right and up on the Periodic Table) and Sodium has a low electronegativity. The difference in this electronegativity attracts the two different atoms together and produces the compound, in this example, Sodium Chloride.
