it was originaly a logatrithmic function but i just dont remember how to solve it with that negative exponent
solve X, x^-2=9

Negative exponents mean you must take reciprocals: x-a = 1/xa
This is a good example here:
x-2= 9
1/x2 = 9
x2 = 1/9
x = ±√(1/9) = ±1/3
