Let me know if this is correct. I broke the responses into male and female categories. Two out of 15 females have been divorced one time each and three out of fifteen males have been divorced once also. So, below would be the appropriate mean, median and mode for the two categories:
For males:
10 x 0 + 3 x 1 = 3 divorces.
3/15 = 1/5 ≈0.20 Thus,.20 is the mean divorce males.
To find the median line up the data and find the middle data point:
0, 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, 0, 0,1,1,1
Since 0 is in the middle, the mode is 0.
For females:
10 x 0 + 2 x 1 = 2 divorces.
2/15 = 2/15 ≈0.133 Thus,.133 is the mean divorce females.
To find the median line up the data and find the middle data point:
0, 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, 0, 0,0,1,1
Since 0 is in the middle, the mode is 0.
