I have taught for the Electronic engineering graduate program at ITT technical Institute as a senior instructor and earned continuous student Satisfaction and Retention awards. I have delivered instructions in class and laboratory utilizing audio, video and written techniques to resolve student difficulties. I have taught technical math, college algebra, statistics, physics and miscellaneous engineering subjects as part of the program. In tutoring, I go beyond the appointed time to ensure that the student's learning task is complete. It is also noteworthy that those students whom I tutored indicate improvement in their grades.
I take pride in teaching theory with the presentation of the practical applications because this method increases student motivation and the subject comprehension. This I can accomplish very successfully because I have twenty plus years of engineering experience in Aerospace industry (Boeing, NASA) and Electronic instrumentation industry in design, development and reliability analyses. I have conducted technical analyses of the NASA equipment as a senior reliability engineer utilizing statistics, probability, algebra and calculus. During this time I have been also a Chair and member of the study group for SRE (Society of Reliability Engineers) Houston chapter. As a chair my functions included educating and guiding engineers interested in a ‘Certified Reliability Engineer’ exam. In regards to my education, I have a Master degree in Electronic engineering and a Bachelor degree in Applied Physics.
