Hola! I am a native Houstonian who fell in love with Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have studied Spanish as a second language for more than 10 years. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored college students in all levels of Spanish. For some students this meant patiently re-explaining classroom concepts and helping students firmly grasp the language; for other students, this meant making sure they knew enough to pass their finals. Every student's goals and abilities are different. I am still in contact with several of the folks I helped to walk across the stage, if you would like references.

After receiving my bachelor's, I briefly taught high school Spanish at a charter school and have also tutored adults learning ESL and Spanish. I have never wanted to teach Spanish in a classroom, working one on one is much more fun and effective. Whether you are struggling with a college, high school, or middle school course, seeking to learn Spanish for fun, or need to get a basic grip on grammar and job specific vocabulary, I will be there help you along the way.

When I was learning Spanish, I always felt that my teachers needed to be native speakers. However, I heard the most complaints from my pupils who had native Spanish speakers as instructors. While I consider myself to be bilingual and a fluent speaker, reader, and writer, I can still sympathize with how frustrating it was when I was first trying to learn Spanish. I've been there, and I would love to help you get over that hump and fall in love with Spanish like I have.

Can't wait to hear from you!

Great Tutor — Ms. K. has tutored our daughter for the past year in Spanish. We have found her to be professional and she comes prepared and focused for the lesson on hand. The progress over the last year has helped tremendously. Ms. K. has challenged our daughter by speaking Spanish at every lesson and this has also helped in her communication with her teachers. The sessions are always well planned and is alwa ...
