Music Career:
I lived and worked in Nashville for 16 years as a staff writer for Sony music, Warner/Chappell music, and several other mainstream music publishers. I am the writer of the #1 country hit in 1989 - "Right From the Start" recorded by Earl Thomas Conley on RCA records. The song was also included on his Greatest Hits CD, and was used in the Paramount movie "Roadhouse" which is one of the most rerun films on television of the last 10 years. I have also written and published and produced other songs that have been played on television and radio through the years.

While in Nashville I owned & operated a recording studio that recorded songs for many famous and successful songwriters and artists, as well as major publishers and labels such as RCA, Capital, Warner Bros, Sony, Polygram, Universal, Mercury, Arista, Atlantic, Disney, Dreamworks, etc.

Now I am semi-retired living in Arlington Texas (where I grew up). I have a recording studio and I have written several non-fiction books. I enjoy working with musically gifted students - singers, songwriters, musicians - rock, jazz, blues & country music.

Patient and Caring Vocal Coach

I have been seeking a vocal coach for some time now. I found really great vocal coaches but their was no real chemistry. Then I met BILLY. I knew after my first vocal session he was the right coach for me. BILLY is extremely patient and caring. He passes no judgment on where you currently are vocally but focuses on how to develop your vocals in preparation to become an amazing artist. I look forward to every session with him and can't wait to see how my vocals with continue to develop. If you are seeking a coach who believes in your ability to grow BILLY is an excellent choice.

Awesome

My son plays piano, double bass, and harp but he has really been wanting to learn guitar for a while. I am glad we found Billy. He is very patient and flexible. He is a wealth of knowledge not only for guitar but other music aspects. He relates to my son very well.
