Great teacher, very intuitive and my son loves her

Michelle was the first tutor I messaged and she responded immediately (that right away was already a good sign for me). My son was in kindergarten when the pandemic hit and was already struggling with learning so not only was he behind his peers to begin with, he fell even further behind because virtual learning just didn’t work for him. I sought out a tutor at the start of his 2nd grade year because after meeting with his teacher I realized he wasn’t going to catch up without the help of a tutor. We started with Michelle at end of Sept. 2021/early October 2021. We are so happy we found her. He couldn’t read at the start of 2nd grade and now that he’s been under Michelle’s direction, he is able to blend letters together to sound out words and he’s starting to be able to read the level 1 books. We knew it would be a journey to get him to where his peers are and Michelle has helped so much with it. At the end of each lesson, she always meets with me to go over what they practiced and what he’s doing well with and the area he needs more help with. She is an amazing tutor and my son is always so excited to have his lessons with her and it’s making him enjoy school now. We are so grateful for all of her help and expertise with him.

He was not behind the power curve, but Michelle has been pivotal in the delivery and organization of her material to propel my son ahead of his peers and set him up for success by both reinforcing what he has been learning in school as well as preparing him for what he will be learning later. Each lesson is prepared chronologically and builds upon the lessons before. She has an amazing ability to hold his attention all throughout the lesson and her patience and experience, as both a teacher and a tutor, is on display every session. I would recommend her to anyone seeking assistance for their child.

Been great working with Ms. Cox for my two daughters. She has an effective plan for each who has different needs. My younger one is a bit restless while my older one needed to be push/challenge harder and Ms. Cox was able to work through these. I am happy to continue working with her since she more experience working with kids then other I had gotten. Also cheaper :).
