To perfectly grasp a concept requires more than just a couple of hours of study, it takes practice and more practice such that it becomes second nature. This principle has proved helpful throughout my undergraduate years for me and for the college students I tutored in Statistics, Chem, Organic Chem, Calculus, and Physics. Similarly, I would suggest home-works and practice problems to my tutees here on WyzAnt after regular tutoring section so that they may become more familiar with the topic/concept. I would also test tutees' knowledge on a particular subject to help highlight the student's area(s) of weakness. We will then work more on these areas in order to build up the student's understanding and confidence in the subject.
A little info about me: I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science with Magna cum Laude in Biology (May 2010) and a prospective Physician Scientist. I just completed a year of NIH-funded post-baccalaureate research in the interaction of HIV and the immune system (with special focus on monocytes) at The Wistar Institute/University of Pennsylvania; and now, I'm working to graduate with a Master's in Health Care Administration by July 2013.
Thanks for taking time to read through my profile.
