I taught Special Education for 28 years. I am a musician and a writer. I also facilitate the poetry session for Staten Island OutLOUD. I believe in working closely with my students, getting to know them and their needs. I like thinking creatively about the problem areas and solving them.
I have taught all subject areas in the past, but prefer to concentrate on music and language arts at this time.
I am also familiar with the difficulties that students with disabilities can encounter in the course of a regular school day.
