Celeste L.

A single mom of two, raised in NH and served overseas in the military, Celeste is a graduate of Texas Tech University and former writer of high school curriculum for the State of Texas. Assessor for the National Board of Professional Teachers, she taught second grade for five years and in 2003 received Clark County School District's Southeast Region Distinguished Educator Award. She was employed for five years as a K-7 with Odyssey Charter School, an online education school, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2007, Celeste earned her M.Ed. at Cambridge College, and is currently working on her M.S. degree in Special Education. Celeste has provided tutoring services for students throughout her ten year career in education and especially enjoys working with both over and under challenged students in all areas. She specializes in writing and enjoys working one-on-one with students in order to focus on individual needs and building students' confidence and independence in their own education.

My very first bachelor's degree was in Human Sciences specializing in Food and Nutrition, Clinical Dietetics.
